According to McDonald, the B-47 case is now carried in the official Blue Book files as "Identified as American Airlines Flight 655." Flight 655 may have had some involvement with the reported UFO incident. I can imagine, however, what Colonel Chase and the rest of his B-47 crew must think of this "explanation" of their puzzling experience which stretched over hundreds of miles as they played "tag" with something strange to them for about an hour and a half. Beyond this "identification," the file McDonald located shed no further light on the nature of the radar-emitting ball of light the plane crew reportedly observed.[1]
